Our FK26 Blower Fan Kit is designed to replace Vermont Castings #0002767 for: Dutchwest 2465 Direct Vent Gas Stove & 2467 Natural Vent Gas Stoves, Stardance SNV30 Natural Vent Gas Stove, Radiance Direct Vent Gas Heater, Vermont Castings EWF30 and other CFM fireplaces to circulate air around the firebox and increase heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit pushes heat created by the stove into your living space.
Included with the blower fan: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Heat Sensor; which will turn the blower OFF and ON Automatically.

FK26 Blower for Dutchwest 2477
Overall this fan unit works very well. I was a bit frustrated that the instructions were not that clear and are hard to read/see the details. Fortunately, my stove already had screws to re-use as the ones sent did not fit. Also, the instructions say to install the rheostat near the front left leg. My stove does not have a spot to install there, so I installed on right hand side.

When the fan is operating it works very well moving air and is relatively quiet... The stove must be very hot for the fan to start, I'd prefer that it came on at a lower temperature... The installation instructions leave a lot to be desired... Overall, we're happy with the product...

FK26 STOVE BLOWER FAN KIT FOR VERMONT CASTINGS
Easy to install and works as expected. There is one problem, the wiring for the rheostat is a bit short. There is a tab on the rheostat that dictates the direction it mounts on the bracket. Once installed the wire on the rheostat comes off it in the front vs back and the wire is pulled tight.

Blower Fan for Stardance SDV30R
We never have had a fan on our fireplace and this works great. My only complaint is that the instructions are missing a few steps - mainly that it doesn't show if you put the skirt back on. Unfortunately for us, the bolts on the "fire box" were way to rusty to take off so I mounted the fan on the back of the skirt so it's exposed and blows up the back of the fireplace on the outside. It seemed odd that they wanted to put it inside the skirt anyway because wouldn't the air be blocked by the top plate?? Also, the snap stat is mounted on the outside of the skirt also (that bolt was all rusted also). Anyway - it seems to work fine - comes on around 110 degrees, and runs for awhile after the fireplace turns off to continue to dissipate the heat. This doesn't interlock with our fireplace at all, it's strictly based on the temperture of the snapstate location.

Wood stove fan kit
Fan kit was complete and fit my Vermont Castings Defiant 1610NC perfectly. The instructions that I was sent were of no use as they did not include my stove model. Luckily proper installation instructions were able to be fouls with a quick internet search. Definitely helped the heat output of the stove.
