BK-ACC Wood Stove Blower Fan Kit for Quadra-Fire - Heatilator

I was immediately impressed by how well this kit was packed, and pleasantly surprised to see that it was exactly what I needed. Works great, looks great, and is clearly built to last as long as the stove itself. My only criticism is that mounting hardware is not provided.

Product is good for ease of install and being all in one box. I did expect a little better airflow though.

Overall I am very pleased. The BK-ACC fits my Quadrafire Discovery II well, only the magnet plate with the temp sensor is a bit to large for the lower corner on the backside of the stove. The fan came without install instructions, so I had to Google the topic to find pictures and instructions. This blower is different from the Quadrafire OEM version. The only instruction for my Discovery II stove I could find were for the OEM fan. The blowers are similar enough to understand where things are supposed to be mounted. I wish the power cord would not be hardwire to the device. If it would be a removable power cord, like on other appliances, I could go and buy a longer cord. Besides missing stove model specific instructions, generic magnet plate that is to large for my stove and the short hardwired cord the blowers is of good quality. It has quiet bearings and moves sufficient amounts of air. Buy with confidence.

It works great and heats up the house in no time at all. The product is great, but we're most impressed with the customer service. Outstanding!

I’ve had it installed for about a week and the house is noticeably warmer now. The con I can think of is I didn’t get the mounting screws with it. No problem for me, I have plenty of hardware on hand.

I have this installed on a Quadrafire 5700 Step Top. Negative - The hardware to mount it is not included, but it’s standard 1/4-20 hardware and I had some in the garage so no big deal. Positive - This blower puts out a lot of heat! It’s an absolute game changer for us since our primary heat source is two wood stoves. The house has been on average 5-8 degrees warmer and it stays warmer longer. You also do not have to use as much wood since it warms the house so much quicker than without a blower. The sound level on the high setting is pretty loud, but if you back it down to 3/4 speed it’s totally manageable, and at half speed you can barely hear it. I honestly don’t run it on high until I’m about to go to bed anyway because it puts out too much heat. Overall, this is a great buy, just be sure to have your 1/4-20 hardware so you’re not disappointed when it comes. I used 3/4” long bolts with lock washers.
