Our FBK-200 Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Lennox MLDVT-40NM fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
The intended installation for this blower kit requires a dedicated switch on the wall to turn the power supply outlet in the vent space under the firebox ON/OFF. The included Wall Mounted Variable Speed Control is to be installed where the dedicated wall switch is presently located. Included with this blower kit is a conversion packet, which enables the variable speed control to be installed in the lower vent space below the firebox.

FBK-200 Fireplace Blower Kit
I received the kit in just a few days after ordering it online. The fan assembly is of high quality and all of the necessary hardware was included. Installation was a breeze, except that I had a bit of trouble getting the fan into the narrow opening under the fireplace. Once I figured how how to do that I then discovered there was a metal screw protruding from the back wall of the fireplace, and of course it was right where I wanted to mount the blower assembly! So I had to drill a clearance hole in the right-angle bracket of the fan. But once I did that the rest of the installation was very easy. I even installed the blower speed control in the opening under the fireplace, next to the igniter. This required modifying the wire harness, but again that was easily done once I purchased a crimping too. Very professional looking installation (I highly recommend using cable ties to organize the wire harness into a neat circle), and it works great. Nice quiet fan except for when it’s on the higher speed settings, and it really spreads heat into the rest of room.
