New blower motors
I have an old Majestic unit built in Indiana. The local distributor could not get parts. When I did find the replacement part on the internet, they wanted $362 for one motor. The kit worked great, I love having the speed control.

Any tips from prior MBUC36 installs ?
Wondering if the MBUC36 gas fireplaces come with a built in power outlet ? don't want to find out I need an electrician after I open up the front grill. Thanks ------------------------------------------ MyFireplaceBlower.com Response: Hi Enkay, Typically they are wired with a power outlet in the lower vent space below the firebox. But, there is no guarantee - it may not be wired. The best thing to do is remove the lower vent cover (louver) and you can plug a lamp into the outlet to see if there is electricity. Also, make sure that any connected switched on the wall are in the "ON" position.

"Universal" fan kit
I have not installed this kit yet but what I have found is that it will require modifying my fireplace(Majestic MBUC36). While the fans will mount easily, the on/off switch and the fan speed control will both require drilling and cutting holes in the existing unit to make them accessible. While this is not rocket science, some folks my find the installation above their pay grade.
