Description
Our GZ550-1KT Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Napoleon B36DFN gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Well worth the price
The price was certainly right. Even with international shipping and duties on arrival, still well below the retail price offered here in Canada directly from Napoleon (about $120 savings). Instructions a bit unclear about adjusting thermodisc properly, but otherwise straight forward. Not producing quite the airflow we had hoped, but certainly better than not having it; this could also be partly due to the design of the fireplace itself. Fairly quiet, no vibration noise at all. Will see how long product lasts, but certainly would consider buying again based on experience so far.
