Description
Our GFK4B Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heatilator NB4236I gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
A speed control module with timer circuit is included with the blower kit which automatically turns the fan ON / OFF at preset times and is equipped with a Speed Button to provide a quiet airflow at the desired speeds. The timer circuit will delay fan operation; by automatically turning ON the fan 7 minutes after the main flame has been turned ON (After the fireplace has warmed up) and turning the fan OFF 12 minutes after the main flame has been turned OFF (After the fireplace has cooled down).

Heatilator
It works. Before our fireplace had no blower so the heat was just wasted. Now with the blower it actually helps heat up the room.

Decent Value
I have not tried any other blowers to compare to this, but it does as it's supposed to do. My only minor complaint (for 4-star rating) is that the motor hum noise is very noticeable anywhere in the room, even with a TV or music on. I was hoping the higher-end ball bearing motor would address this as it was a common comment I saw on lower priced units. Maybe it's quieter, but definitely not silent. Install though was very simple, and it worked on the first try.

Easy Installation
This was one of the first Do It Yourself project I have done that did not have a challenge that sent me out to buy something. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, all of the needed parts were in the kit, and the fan actually fit in the fire place with out removing any parts. Once installed, the operation is pretty simple and it has greatly helped the fireplace heat up the room.
