Description
Our GFK4B Blower Fan Kit is designed for Heatilator and other fireplaces to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
A speed control module with timer circuit is included with the blower kit which automatically turns the fan ON / OFF at preset times and is equipped with a Speed Button to provide a quiet airflow at the desired speeds. The timer circuit will delay fan operation; by automatically turning ON the fan 7 minutes after the main flame has been turned ON (After the fireplace has warmed up) and turning the fan OFF 12 minutes after the main flame has been turned OFF (After the fireplace has cooled down).

Fan blower kit
Kit came as described. VERY simple instructions that are clear enough to understand by a DIY homesteader! It is a bit noisy once in place but, with the velcro securing system, this is the best you're going to get for noise dampening and having it stay secured. Thin sheet metal surrounding the fire mechanisms doesn't help when it's all you have to work with! This does the job quickly and effectively.

Replacement fireplace blower
Having just installed my new replacement blower, I can say this item appears equivalent to the original in quality and performance. Also, I received excellent installation service when I inquired about a questionable electrical connection related to the original set up 18 years prior. The technical assistance was very reassuring considering I was dealing with both gas and electricity. Multiple thumbs up!

Love it!
The blower works great and throws out some serious heat from my gas fireplace. The only downside is that it’s a bit loud when set on the higher levels. Also, the illustrations on the instruction could be improved to show exactly what the “piggyback” wire is and how it’s installed. Not clear at all for someone who has never used a piggyback wire before.
