GFK4B - GFK4 Fireplace Blower Kit for Heatilator Fireplaces

Can,t believe that it really took only 45 minutes to install. Worked great and now my fireplace has the breath of a fire breathing dragon!

This blower finally made my gas fireplace useful. Prior to installing the blower my fireplace was nothing more than a glorified candle.

I purchased the blower as a house warming gift for my Sister and Brother-in-law's new home. The home had a gas fireplace, but no blower. The installation was very easy and the results are amazing. What a difference it made and will probably result in lower heating bills for them. Thank you and it's a great product at a great price.

Super easy install! Easy to follow directions! Even comes with pictures! Had heat blowing out of the fireplace within 30 minutes. So simple even a caveman could do it....if he had a fireplace and electricity....

It was very complete everything was ready to install. The directions were easy to follow and it only took about 15 min. to install. The shipping was free and fast,just a few days. I highly recommend this product.

I'm happy with the blower and the heat it produces. The temperature in our living room increased by 8 degrees with the blower. Somewhat difficult installation due to the narrow space below, but written instructions were easy enough to follow. Website link to youtube video was for the wrong model, so I was unable to use it.

I've ordered lost of fans from this company. I work on and repair gas fireplaces. The parts are top quality and usually better that the ones I get from the manufacturer.

I installed the blower kit, as well as a remote control. Everything works as advertised, and we're happy with it. We keep the blower on a low speed, and can hardly hear it, even when trying to! I had some questions, and I'm able to report that the customer service is exceptional, as well. This has made our Heatilator everything it should be.

Just had the blower installed yesterday. Had electrician put blower on its own switch. Had professional from gas company come and move a gas line, so blower would slide in. Blower isn't difficult at all to hook up but getting it installed with all the components underneath can be a little difficult. Had to undo gas line, After blower was set in place, gas line was hooked back up. I feel better and safe knowing I had professional installers working on the electric and gas. Blower is definitely doing its job, getting more heat into our home. I would recommend this blower to anyone, also utube was useful. Your customer service was outstanding.

First, the wiring on the unit wasn't exactly like in instructions in the box and on-line, but I figured it out. The biggest problem was the fan and motor wouldn't fit in the opening in front of my FP. With a lot of pushing, and flexing of the sheetmetal on my FP, I finally got it in. Once in place I had to hook up the wires. Couldn't do it beforehand because of the problem getting it in place. Finally got it in place, wired-up and running. The fan motor runs, but not smoothly. I hope it doesn't quit, because it will be impossible to get it back out! The total installation job was approx. 2 hours.
