Our GFK4B Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heatilator NDV4236, NDV4236I gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
A speed control module with timer circuit is included with the blower kit which automatically turns the fan ON / OFF at preset times and is equipped with a Speed Button to provide a quiet airflow at the desired speeds. The timer circuit will delay fan operation; by automatically turning ON the fan 7 minutes after the main flame has been turned ON (After the fireplace has warmed up) and turning the fan OFF 12 minutes after the main flame has been turned OFF (After the fireplace has cooled down).

"visualize a pathway for the blower to reach the back"
It's a very small space with the preexisting components occupying the visualized pathway. Had to move the junction box and some wiring out of the way, but the installation was otherwise straight forward.

This kit fit my fireplace perfectly and included all the components needed for a seamless installation. The variable speed control included for the squirrel cage fans speed works perfectly. This fan made a huge difference in the amount of heat my gas fireplace now produces

I bought a blower fan kit GFK4B and I’m very pleased with it. Very good quality and easy to install. I would highly recommend.

GFK4B blower
Not for the unskilled home owner. Not easy to insert blower due to limited space under fireplace. Main wire would not fit on pigtail as spade connectors on fire place are smaller size. I cut the stock connector off and replaced with correct size. Cage fan is partially covered so when set on high you get as much air out the bottom as the top so limiting heat. Do like the delay on the fan on startup and shut down however if you lose power, when it comes back controller resets to high and you have to remove cover and reset.

I have never worked on a gas fireplace before, and was able to follow the instructions and successfully install my new blower. My family loves the amount of heat that now comes off of the fireplace. Great purchase!

Great Product! Even Better Customer Service!
I was a bit apprehensive about installing a fireplace blower as a DIY project, but I did research and identified the GFK4B blower fan kit as the unit I would need for my fireplace. I called the company to order and the individual who took the order verified that this unit would be a perfect fit, he explained the process of installing the kit and further reassured me that all of the required parts were included. In addition I learned that the kit came with very detailed instructions and that I could call the company if I needed any additional assistance. The kit arrived within the time frame I was told and I received tracking information prior to delivery as well. I have to say that installing this kit was easy as described in the instructions and I had the unit installed and operational within 30 minutes! Great product, it works well and as I stated great customer service!

Excellent kit, easy to install.
Worked as advertised. The kit covered two different gas valves so one needs to know which parts go to which valve. The instructions tend to be a bit cryptic so look them over well.
