4 speeds setting the top (2) are a little noisy...the 2nd lowest is what keep mine set on. Like the delayed start & stop.

Sometimes getting technical support for installation questions can be a challenge. Not in this case. Our wiring question was answered within 20 minutes and the instructions worked perfectly. Heater performs well. Highest speeds make more noise (as expected), but medium and lower speeds are quiet and still produce significant heat flow improvement.

For the cost I expected a nice quiet fan and this is not quiet. Only on the lowest speed is the noise tolerable but then there is so little air flow there is no point to the fan. I would give this one star but the install was easy, the directions were well done and the controls work exactly as stated. I have to get a qualified electrician to install this period there some wiring that needs to be done and I have no idea how to do it and I don't wanna screw it up. I thought it would be a simple plugin but there's more involved.

Only difficulty is find and practicing installing blower, once done the rest was very simple and staight forward. Product works great and selection of blower speed is outstanding.

I recently bought this kit and self-installed into our new heatilator gas fireplace and couldn't be happier. The instructions are extremely detailed and easy to follow. The unit is not overly loud and serves its purpose well.

Installation instructions were great. Getting the fan in was a tight squeeze. Blows well and now we are making better use of the heat output. Only thing that could make it better would be to offer remote speed control at a similar price rate.

Significantly increased heated air flow into room as advertised. Discovered by neighbor (H. Theis) who has recommended this unit to numerous homeowners after installing his and has graciously helped the rest of us.

Received this blower kit promptly and it installed as per the directions. Yes, it is a tight fit but it can be done and makes a big difference in the output of the fireplace. The connections are simple and straight forward. The most difficult task was removing the protective tape from the Velcro strips. Be sure to clean the area where the blower will seat. You want it to stick well. A neighbor also purchased this model and we installed it in 8 minutes. Great buy.

Not as easy to install as others said, and the fan is noisier than I expected ------------------------------------------ MyFireplaceBlower Response: This fan is always on full speed when you turn in on. An option is to connect a Variable Speed Control to the blower, this will allow you to turn the speed down and there will be less air-movement noise. There is not a lot of extra room in lower vent space of the fireplace for installation, but is does work per the instructions.
