Our GFK4B Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heatilator NDV4236, NDV4236I gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
A speed control module with timer circuit is included with the blower kit which automatically turns the fan ON / OFF at preset times and is equipped with a Speed Button to provide a quiet airflow at the desired speeds. The timer circuit will delay fan operation; by automatically turning ON the fan 7 minutes after the main flame has been turned ON (After the fireplace has warmed up) and turning the fan OFF 12 minutes after the main flame has been turned OFF (After the fireplace has cooled down).

Great fan
Great fan and does exactly what I hoped it would. We had been heating the 6 inches around our gas fireplace for a few years and I wondered what it would be like to not have to stand right next to the fire. This fan moves the air enough to warm up the room. Installation was pretty straightforward, but took some time.

Blower Fan Kit
Fan was easy to install and works great. Took 20 minutes or less. It was shipped without the grounding connection on the blower and this was remedied quickly and the missing part was sent immediately.

Great price for a relatively painless do-it-yourself install
I'm a reasonably handy person and had no trouble understanding the installation instructions. Maneuvering the unit into place in the tight confines under the fireplace insert was a bit tricky, but otherwise the installation was fairly easy. As others have said, the unit can be a bit loud on the higher settings. We have ours set at medium, which seems to strike a good balance between heat circulation and noise. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a reasonably handy or clever person for a do-it-yourself install, especially at these prices.

ordered and received the product in a timely manner. Installed the fan unit per the instructions found on the website. Took about 1&1/2 as the space was pretty tight to get my paws in. Plugged it in and it worked just like the instructions said it would. Happy with the product.

Ease of installation
Having never worked in this line of business but being reasonably handy (although my wife may disagree) I found this blower to be remarkably easy to install. I reviewed the directions carefully in advance of trying to complete the job. But perhaps more importantly, I watched the videos available at myfireplaceblower.com. After doing so I felt very confident taking on this project and am glad I did. It's working great!
