As Advertised
Bought the kit for my fireplace, installed exactly as described and illustrated in the directions; worked perfectly. I’m always pleased when a product comes with good directions, installs exactly as defined in the directions and works as it’s supposed to. The blower is louder than I would like it to be, but for the price it’s great. I did email the company with a few questions unrelated to the blower, but never received a reply. Didn’t change my opinion of their product, but it would have been nice to get a reply.

GREAT 11/23/2016
We moved to Colorado from Indiana where we heated with a Buck Stove. We didn't think we would use our gas fireplace much but found it really worked well to heat our living room, dining room and kitchen. We noticed that the area above the insert was very warm to the touch and thought about putting a small fan on the mantel to move the air into the room. I found myfireplaceblower site and ordered their fan. It was delivered three days later, took about 10 minutes to install it and we are VERY pleased with the performance! The thermos disc turns the fan on when the fire box reaches 120 degrees and turns the fan off when the fire box cools. It's pretty quite even on high but we have found that on high the air coming out of the vent seems a little cooler than when on low. If you use your gas fireplace to heat rather than for decoration I highly recommend this kit. Our fireplace manufacturer estimates that it cost about $.33 per hour to operate our unit. So far it has not been real cold in Colorado, some nights down to the teens but we have found that when we turn on the fireplace in the morning our furnace NEVER turns on the entire time we have the fireplace lit.
