Our GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for Heat & Glo fireplace to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

affordable and easy to install
I needed a blower fan for my new Hearth-Home gas fireplace. The local fireplace businesses quoted me $450-$500 (cost of the unit at $300 plus service fee and install fee of $150-$200). I researched and determined this was the appropriate part and ordered it. Install took less than 10 minutes, most of which was reading the instructions. It was super easy and works like a charm, and I saved myself over $300. It works as advertised and is reasonably quiet.

Great product. Easy install
Super simple to install. Hardest part was cleaning the dust out of the unit. Great instructions, everything fit in the factors holes and places. I think it took 20 minutes to actually install. I run it at about 50% (ceiling fan in the room) and I can barely hear it. If you were to run it at 100% speed you would hear the hum and wind noise. So far super impressed with the unit.

super easy to install
My Hearth-Home fireplace was pre-wired for this, with the power strip setup, and so this install literally took 10 minutes, with at least half of that spent carefully reading the directions. I connected the plug wires to the blower assembly, affixed the ground wire and slid the blower into place. Then I plugged the two wires into the power strip and plugged it in. That's it! It works like a charm, and I saved over $300 by doing it myself. Fireplace stores that do this work wanted $300 for the motor, $100 for a service fee for coming out, and another $50-$100 for the actual install. For something that should take them less than 10 minutes.

So much more quiet than the old one while was going through its death rattles. Lots more warm air being efficiently circulated which is saving me money and making the room warmer.

Really easy to instaLl !!
This was way easier to install than expected. Took longer to clean the area than install. Blower does seem to be louder than expected but you can reduce speed to comfortable level. Would recommend the purchase
