Description
Our GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for Heat & Glo fireplace to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Simple Install
Very pleased with the quick shipping and receipt of the fireplace blower. The installation was a breeze and took less than 10 minutes. The only complication for me was the motor power wires needed to be installed inside the fireplace rather than outside as depicted in the instructions. The ground wire was good to go as per the instructions. Extremely happy with the amount air that is pushed. Would definately recommend this product to my friends, family and if asked nicely from someone I do not really care for....

Have two fire places and a fan like this installed in the basement f/p already.
Wanted the second for the main floor, install new one in about 1 hour, a simpler install than the older one was 12 years ago. Working fine, takes the chill in the room off sooner now.

Ordered it online saving about $150 from the local places and it arrived at Customs in two days, but took another 12 to make it to my house? Oh, well nothing to do with this site, but rather good ole Canada Post? Regardless, I installed the unit in minutes and the performance is nothing less than excellent. In no time at all our family room is toasty warm! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a fireplace fan.
