Our GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heat & Glo 6000TR-OAK gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Easy conversion
Installing the fan kit was fairly easy. Finding the correct spot for the bimetal Thermo disc stat took some time to optimize. Fan operates quietly and seems well balanced. Super fast shipping.

Great Addition
I have had this fireplace for 15 years without the fan. We really used it for the looks. It was not until this winter that we really wanted to warm the room with it. The install was easy and the fan really warms up the room much better than before.

Easy install, difference maker
Hardest part was cleaning out all the dust and crap that had built up underneath the firebox. Install took about 20 min, fired up the fireplace, and blower kicked on automatically and shutdown automatically. It has been running about 24/7 for 2 weeks since it has been super cold. Running like a champ.

Very good blower for my fireplace - easy install
I called the customer support number and had a few questions about the blower that I was about to purchase. The person that I talked to knew the answers to my questions. The shipping was extremely fast. As far as the blower goes, it was super-easy to install (probably took about 15 minutes) and works great! I cannot believe how much more air circulates from the fireplace now. I'm extremely happy with my purchase! Great customer service and great product! If you have this model fireplace, I would highly recommend you add this blower to it. Definitely worth the money!

Was very easy to install. The thermostats didn't work so I just wired past it. Experience Alone--Worth Cost
Moved into a 10-year old house with a Heat-N-Glo fireplace----no manual, no instructions. With the model number from the sticker, I first called My Fireplace. The respondent sounded positive and was very willingly helpful--even provided the installation manual and videos. I ordered and received the blower earlier than estimated. Installation was made easy by very clear instructions. Ran the fireplace/blower system through a cycle and it worked perfectly. This is a "happy camper".

Very easy install. Seemed almost too easy like I was missing something. Works great and provides plenty of airflow with little to no noise.
