Description
Our GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for Heat & Glo fireplace to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Blower is solid and well constructed. had to remove screen and glass from front of fireplace to install so installation took a little longer than expected. Appreciate that instructions included removal of glass. Blower works great, distributes heat well throughout the room with fan on lower setting, really don’t hear the blower when TV mounted above fireplace is on. Really happy with this purchase we use the fireplace so much more now!

Blower GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan Kit
The unit itself is great and the installation wiring is easy to connect. The only issue is getting the blower into the enclosure. I installed 3 of these in my neighborhood and in each case getting it into and positioned behind the box was difficult. If the unit was 1/4 inch lower and 1/2 inch less width it would be perfect. As it is it took 45 minutes to 1 hours to push and wiggle and remove rubber feet to position it.

Ordering was easy, arrived timely, and packaged well. Installation instructions were clear, however I did review an installation video prior to starting the installation. Installation took 20 minutes. I would highly recommend cleaning the surface area the blower vents through as well as possible before starting installation. Product works as expected. Very good value, and free shipping is appreciated. I would purchase again or recommend to a friend.

Just What I Needed
My house has Heat & Glo gas fireplace with no fan. Fireplace heated living room but not efficiently. Purchased GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan Kit from My Fireplace Blower and wow! what a difference. Recently purchased the GFK-160A blower for my old Heat & Glo LP fireplace. It was a very easy install and fan works great. This was exactly what we needed to get more heat from this old fireplace. Shipping was fast. Package arrived well protected with detailed instructions and fully assembled for install. Piece of cake. Very glad we purchased. Highly recommend. Also, impressed by this company. I actually called them using number listed and within 5 rings a real person answered and quickly answered my question about shipping. Try that with "made in China".
