Our FAB-1600 Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for Superior and other fireplace to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Complete Solution
This is a great kit. Well and thoughtfully designed. The thermal output of the fireplace with the fan is so much better than without. The thermocouple which controls when the fan comes on is a great idea. Getting the fan into the space under the firebox was tricky. I had to remove both the outer screen as well as the glass panel on the front of my Hearth and Home gas fireplace before I could get sufficient clearance to install the fan. It was still tight. The fan is very quiet but it was vibrating just enough on the sheet metal bottom of the fireplace to cause some reverberation. I put felt pads under the fan supports which eliminated the reverberation. I drilled a 3/8th hole on the bottom right side of my fireplace, mounted the rheostat on the inside of the fireplace with the stem coming through the hole, put the knob back on the stem and the fan speed can be easily adjusted.

The blow housing arrived bent although it was completely wrapped in bubble wrap. So bent that when started the fan blade would scrape the housing. It appears tha t the fan was either dropped before packing or poor quality control . I was able to straighten the housing and correct the condition. The overall quality is less than the original, plastic fan blades rather than metal.Velcro attachment system rather than magnets as the original.

Makes such a difference!
We need had a blower installed in the superior model direct vent gas fireplace used in our subdivision. So, after some maintenance we tried to order the old part and wasn’t able to find it. We went to this store and found the part number crossover and the part came so fast and was installed with minimal effort by my husband. It kicks on when it comes up to temperature and kicks off after the unit cools down when we turn it off! Thanks, we can now be comfortable and use our front room for movies and relaxing during the coldest months of the year!

Great customer service
Ordered the blower for my gas fireplace. The thermostat is supposed to attach to the bottom, but my gas logs are too far off the bottom for the thermostat to work. I contacted costumer service and they immediately called me to fix the problem. They shipped me everything I needed to move the thermostat, free of charge. I would recommend this website to everyone.
